Elegant Nautical Wedding with a Navy and Yellow Colour Palette

It was amazing to live in San Francisco for six months last year.

I’ve met so many lovely people in this charming and quirky place.

I’m a sucker for San Francisco city chic weddings.

This navy and yellow wedding on a yacht appeals to me because I love all things nautical.

Liz and Simon’s nautical wedding was held on the night of the Golden Gate Bridge’s 75th anniversary, so there were plenty of fireworks. Liz’s up-do with roses is stunning, and I love the anchor details in everything, from the cupcakes to the dog’s tie!

Liz, poor Liz, broke her leg the week before the wedding. She had to wear a brace on the big day. But she still looked elegant. Mel’s work was great. I loved it. We had a unique look. So glad we did it! The yacht that we used is called The Merlot, so for our favors, we chose stemless wine glasses engraved with our names and dates as well as a cake pop.

Liz’s advice to other couples planning weddings is simple: “Have fun!” Amen.
